Beaconfield Campsites

Beaconfield Campsites can be found only 9 miles from Birmingham City Centre in the idyllic setting of the Lickey Hills. We offer a safe and secure location for events in peaceful surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of normal life.

We are close to many attractions including Cadbury World, Avoncroft Museum, Waseley Country Park, Lickey Hills Vistitor Centre, Cannon Hill Nature Park and the Sealife Centre.

We offer 2 campsites:

Beaconfield Campsite has a dry shelter with electricity, fridge, freezer and a small kitchen area. There are three toilets, one electric shower and a disabled toilet and shower. It is fully equipped for camping in both traditional and lightweight tents.

Oakfield campsite has a small dry shelter with battery powered lighting and three toilets. It is partially equipped for camping.

Beaconfield

Beaconfield is our fully equipped campsite. It is set back from the road down a long driveway. There is hard standing parking at the bottom of the drive for about four vehicles. There is now lighting down the driveway operated from the Beaconfield hut.


There is a large flat area for camping and a gently sloping area that is ideal for activities.


It has a flagged area for cooking on the wood fires. Alter fires are available for unit cooking. There are also several small alter fires for patrol / small group cooking. Wood can be collected from the wooded area between Beaconfield and Oakfield.


Beaconfield has a purpose built dry shelter with two fan heaters. There are sliding doors looking out over the campsite. It has tables and chairs that can be used inside or lifted outside and three benches that can be used around the site.
 


It has three toilets and an electric shower. It has a recently built disabled toilet and fully accessible shower.


There is a small kitchen area with a fridge, freezer and microwave.


The camp store is within the dry shelter.

Beaconfield is fully equipped for both traditional and light weight camping for 30 people. 


There is cooking equipment available to cater for both small and large groups. The cooking facilities are to cook on wood. There is crockery and cutlery for 30 people. For a full list of equipment provided please contact the booking secretary.

When camping on Beaconfield you have use of our wood and campfire circle.



There are games and sports equipment in the dry shelter and an orienteering course around the site.
